THURSDAY 11/8
PLATIS GIALOS

by Jaco Van Dormael
Belgium, France, Luxembourg, 2015
Duration: 113′

God exists and lives in Brussels. He is an unpolished, sadist petty bourgeois, who is having fun by troubling and making pranks to the mankind. But his little daughter escapes the family home, aiming to change the world and to write a brand new testament. A hilarious comedy with surrealistic aspects, philosophical extensions and a lot of black humor. Premiere on the Directors’ Forthnight in Cannes’ Film Festival and participation on the short list for the Best Foreign Language Film Oscar.
